A dark green/brown powder with a characteristic fresh, nutty flavour and aroma; hemp flour is a gluten free alternative to wheat flour, suitable for baking and other applications. It is low in sugar, very low in sodium/salt, and high in fibre, protein, vitamin D, vitamin E and unsaturated fat - as well as being a great source of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
After being cleaned, dried and pasteurized organic hemp seeds are cold pressed. The oil is extracted and the seed cake is mechanically ground and sieved (500 μm of grind) for the finest particles. No thermal or chemical treatment involved.
